Functional training refers to exercises and activities that mimic real-life movements and engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously. These workouts are designed to improve overall strength, stability, balance, and coordination, making everyday tasks easier to perform. For individuals, incorporating functional training exercises into their fitness routine can enhance their overall physical capabilities and functional fitness.
In this unit, you will follow a 12-weeks program specifically built to enhance kicking and combat sports abilities by the expert Diego Freire, with key points transfers from multiple Olympic Coach Philippe Pinerd.
Olympic Coach, Philippe Pinerd,
8th dan in Taekwondo, 7th dan in Hapkido, is the founder of Taipa.
Holding an MSC in Sports Education, he has a long career in high performance field, having been an Olympic coach and a National Team trainer for several countries like France, Belgium, Kazakhstan , and technical adviser for many World class athletes from various Combat Sports.
Originally from Brazil, Diego Freire collaborated with Philippe to develop programs specifically tailored for fighters. These programs aim to improve not only their overall physical condition but also their effectiveness on the field of Combat.
